BOTH Bulawayo Chiefs and Herentals FC will be looking to collect maximum points to stay within touch of the log pace steers when they go toe-to-toe this weekend.

The Twitter Kings will be hosted by the Students in a Castle Lager Premier League game at the giant National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Bulawayo Chiefs will be hoping to maintain the five-game unbeaten run when they travel away from Bulawayo to lock horns with Harare-based outfit after playing three consecutive games in the City of Kings and Queens.

The hosts will be bubbling in confidence after they managed to earn a point in their last match against one of the title contenders Chicken Inn. They would want to bring that five star performance to this weekend’s game against Chiefs.

Chiefs will be out for blood and eager to redeem themselves after a disappointing draw when they looked on course to grabbing the full package but Highlanders had other ideas in mind. The Twitter kings surrendered a two-nil lead to Highlanders bizarrely when Adrian Silla spoiled the party for Chiefs in the dying moments of the game.

Despite their sorry previous draw, Chiefs will want to quickly put that result under the pillow and bounce back when they travel to Harare. To do that, they will have to pass the Herentals test, with Coach Nilton Terroso well aware of the task at hand.

Chiefs senior gaffer Terroso is braced up for a tough encounter this weekend as the Twitter kings have had a tough spell away from home this season, collecting 6 points from a possible 18.

“I think it’s going to be a difficult game. From what I understand they are a good side and they are above us on the table as well which shows that they have performed well all the season”, said Terroso.

“They are a team that plays good football as well especially at home. Playing in Harare is going to be very difficult for us”, said Terroso.

There is a thin margin that is separating Herentals and Chiefs. They currently sit on positions 8 and 9 respectively on the PSL log standings, with 21 and 18 points each.

Herentals vs Chiefs kick off at 3 pm.
