It was a 4 Goals thriller at Gibbo stadium this afternoon when Bulawayo Chiefs locked horns with Triangle United.
The game ended on a two all stalemate, with Elvis Moyo rescuing the visitors in the dying stages of the nail bitting contest.
Chiefs drew first blood through Wilson Mensah,in the early stages of the match. The slender lead only lasted for 10 mins as Triangle levelled the scores from a round of play.
The two goals took the contest into halftime with both teams creating chances after chances. The second half was highlighted by the introduction of Kelvin Madzongwe who made his return from a long term injury. With Mthokozisi also testing the green surface of Gibbo stadium. Surprisingly it was the home side who found their second goal of the afternoon to have a lead in the 77th minute of the game.
The Ninja's never die attitude paid off in the injury time when Elvis Moyo rose to the occasion and buried a shot that settled the scores at Gibbo. This was disappointment for the host as they thought they had sealed the greatest deal of the afternoon. Head Coach Nilton Terroso acknowledged the difficult and the physicality of their opponents that almost curtailed their nine game unbeaten run. "Triangle interms of their style of play are very direct, straight forward and a lot of physical contact which we had a little bit of difficulty in dealing with" said Terroso. Chiefs next outing is a home match, with the aim of extending the unbeaten run into ten matches.
