BULAWAYO Chiefs will be hoping to stretch their unbeaten run to ten matches when they face Cranborne Bullets this Sunday in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match that is scheduled for Luveve stadium.

The match comes after the Ninjas earned a point against Triangle United through an Elvis Moyo stoppage time equalizer. It will be a huge mountain to climb for Nilton Terroso led side as they will be facing a wounded Cranborne side.

Cranborne are coming from a sorry defeat from the hands of the log leaders Chicken Inn who thrashed them by four goals to one. They will be hoping to bounce back against Chiefs this weekend.

This is the second time the two teams will lock horns battling it out for the most valuable three points. The first leg was a nil all draw in the second week of the league matches.

Terroso is well aware of what his Sunday opponents are capable of and he won’t take the match slightly.

“I believe they will be quite direct, quite dynamic, they will probably look to take advantage of mistakes that we will make, but we have prepared for it with my assistant coach” said Terroso.

There is a ten points gap between the two teams, Chiefs currently occupy the tenth position in the log standings with 26 points. Their Sunday opponents are sitting in the relegation zone with 16 points.

The two sides go to the Sunday’s encounter with different agendas, Chiefs will be looking to reduce the gap between themselves and the leading pack. On the other hand the army side will be looking to get out of the danger zone.

It’s only a matter of time before fortune favours the brave between the two sides meet at Luveve, but the question is who will be brave enough to be favoured by the fortune.
