Chicken Inn handed Bulawayo Chiefs their third successive defeat by beating them three goals to one in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played this afternoon at Luveve Stadium.

The match was a fairytale for the fans as they were treated with glorious entertainment.

Obriel Chirinda made the first half headlines by missing a penalty just at the halftime stroke. A chance that Chiefs would rue later in the day.

In the second half the visitors scored two goals in quick succession. The writing was already on the wall for the visitors.

Chiefs pulled one back but their efforts were nullified as Chicken Inn  added their third goal of the day and maintained a sound lead for the day.

In an interview after the game, head coach Nilton Terosso had this to say after the disappointing result;

"In terms of the game, honestly I think we were outstanding. I think the third  goal was a little bit difficult we were on the rush of course the 3V1 at the end is something that we have taken our risk and tried to go further for at least a draw but every other moment of the game especially the first half up until the time we conceded the first goal I think we were incredible."

Terroso believes that improvement on performance may lead to equal points which is what they need to do for the thirteen fixtures remaining.

The Ninjas aim to finish the season in a way that they deserve to and there is belief that this may help them achieve what they want in the coming season.

All will be to play for when the Ninjas travell to face Tenax in their next fixture.
